screen saver password in windows 98

I was curious as to where the screen saver password is kept. I know that log on is a pwl file but the screen saver password is not. I also know how to get rid of the screen saver password, not hard at all but I would just like to know where its located

Hi,

The screensaver password is kept in the registry. If you run regedit and search for the word 'screensave' then you should find it. It is stored in an encrypted format though. Although there are many programs out there that will decrypt it for you.
