I just bought a USB Cobra 20 GB external hard drive. It has it's own set of drivers for my PC, and is formatable under Win98. My problem: is there any software out there that can partition this monster? The drive is not seen in DOS at all, so regular Fdisk and/or Partition Magic won't work. I contacted the company, who gave me much help (EZQuest), but they didn't know of any software. It's just a nice big warehouse now.

With the drive not having the OS on it PM should be able to partition it from within windows as long as it is capable of seeing the drive. I have partitioned many IDE and SCSI drives that were NOT the primary HD without having to boot into DOS.
