When I clear my history files I get two(2) notices (like a warning wav). I was wondering what they are letting me know? I hit the clear history, then it does the notice thing. Oh btw, it's not consistant, sometimes it does somestimes it doesn't? Whats up with that?

Thank you oh lofty ones.

IE5.5? Unless it's something new in that version, I wouldn't think that IExplore.exe operation would be any different between W9X and WinNT, and my IE5.01 simply deletes the files w/o any fanfare. Perhaps you have that "warning" sound as one of your sound "events", like Default or Critical Stop?

Yes that is it, a critical stop or something, but it sounds like two(2) operations are being performed rather that the singular task of deletion. Is there a second set of files that delete when you do this at the network level? It is not a consistent (ie it is inconsistent) operation.
