IE5.01 loads fast but some graphics missing

Can anyone give somefeed back on this problem, my browser page generally loads quite fast but sometimes there are two or three gifs or jpgs missing and i have to right click to show picture.

any chance of seeing the html to display the missing images or are they random?

I noticed that;

<img src=\images\image.gif>

Would fail in IE but not netscape. The solution is;

<img src=image\image.gif>

Thanks for your feedback but the pics are sometimes random. IE5.01 will chose when it dosent want to display some graphics on certain websites.

I used to have that problem right after I switched from dialup to cable. I will be trying to remember if there's something i did to make it go away or if it just magically worked one day. I'll let you know if the brain kicks in http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

No some websites are fine but on others mabye 2 or 3 gifs or jpg will not load. Btw I have upgraded from dial up to Xdsl could that be an issue? also I have tweaked my registry for IE5.01 to[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings]
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000010
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000008

I have deleted this but still the problem persist.
