I know it's a touchy subject on this board, but what exactly is warez, and why is it so despised?

Warez = pirated software.

Its ok to discuss warez and the effects of it on the computer industry, but as soon as people start inquiring as to where they can find some illegal software, thats when it isnt allowed.

Warez software has a higher chance of having virus's too. Stay away from it.
