I think this is the right forum for this....for some reason, Internet Explorer no longer marks visited links with a different color as unvisited links. Nothing has changed in configuration, and the links that had been visited prior to this still show up as "visited". For the life of me, I can't figure this one out. If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them and try them out.
Thanks!

Talking about this site? Apparently a MB glitch -- look here:

Thanks for the research, but that deals with a problem specific to this forum. My problem is with IE in general, i.e. when i visit a link on a site, normally it will be a different color the next time I visit that site, indicating that I've used that link before. Now, all new visited links do not change color after I visit them.

One thing comes to mind, but it would have required IE's configuration to have changed.
Check if your "visited links" still have a different color. Tools>Internet Options>Colors.

Nope. That's why I'm stumped Fingers. All of the obvious solutions aren't a problem, and I can't think of anything not so obvious that would have changed this. Thankfully, I have the collective brainpower here to call on.

IE's temp internet files get partially bollixed at times. Try deleting Temp & History files from IE properties first. However, even that doesn't do a 100% job -- there's a small prog to do it completely @ winmag.com. Also, cookies can become corrupted -- delete the index.dat file from the cookie folder as a last resort.

Thanks for the help! BFlurie, I tried all of your suggestions. Actually, I started out by deleting all of the cookies and Temp Internet Files, and then I deleted the history. Deleting the history did the trick, although I'm not sure why. It must of been full.
Thanks

Don't forget about the simple little I.E. 5 Repair Tool. It's made for this kind of stuff.
