Lost ability to bookmark in Netscape

While messing around trying to create some sub folders in my bookmarks, I seem to have lost the ability to book mark at all.

I have looked at every menu I can think of.

Ideas?

Favorites allow this and make sure your bookmarks are not read-only in the properties. Do you not have a Favorites tab up top?

Is Bookmarks listed in Communicator drop down list?

I messed it up but it is fixable. When you make a bookmark separator a "New Bookmark Folder", you get this tiny, puny, underfed, 3 pixel by 4 pixel square box with tiny lines (like a readme icon), to let you know that is your new bookmark default folder.

After I found that, I just created a "new" new bookmarks folder.

What was that they say about only wanting to drain the swamp? (& found myself up to my **** in alligators)!
