Being over here on the east coast, I sometimes forget the time difference of everyone on the west coast, let alone for those in other countries. Like for me its 1:00 am right now but people are still lurking around the message board (even Sysopt himself http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif ) How late do people usually stay up here? I have never been here and no one is logged in...would be kinda wierd.......

Off topic? I think so.

It just depends on a couple of factors for me (mainly if I'm on call for work). But I try a visit every couple of hours. I bet I have posted at one time or another every hour night or day http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I have yet to visit and not have someone show up in the "online" page! With SysOpt being a Internationally recognized site it's pretty easy to see that someone is always awake!

Why bother with a trivial thing like sleep? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

While I anywhere near a computer, I usually have a browser with the forums loaded in the background.

BTW, Most days I commonly go to bed about 4:00 am and get up around 9:00 am.

I just woke up. It's about 12:45am West Coast. I'm sure I'll be up till light. I'll check in and out of here a few times during the rest of the morning...this is not uncommon.

Perhaps the question for some should be:

How early do you get up?

I don't go to bed per say I work graveyard shift and am on call when not at work so I don't have a schedule usually once a month I try to at least two days without sleep it comes in handy being use to something like that especially when I use to play Magic: The Gathering http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif We had 72 hour tournaments in Little Rock, AR about three times a year I can tell I am getting older because it gets harder and harder to do http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

Well I usually am up doing something until 12-1 AM here in Texas, and then get in bed and lay around for an hour before going to sleep. The other day i woke up at 1 in the afternoon. That was weird for me, i usually wake up about 10 or 11 in the morning. Last night i stayed up until about 3:30 AM and got up at 10:45 to go somewhere. Dead tired.

I try to get 8 hours of sleep a night so I can be active during the day (I hate bogging in daytime). Since I have morning classes at 8:00 two days a week, and 9:00 three days a week, I usually go to sleep between 12 and 1. Weekends are something else http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. Went to sleep at 5 this morning. Was at a gathering last night. Met a nice girl, got her number, told her I'd call http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif.

Older people seem to need less sleep. Over the last several centuries I've gotten it down to 1-2 "hours" per planetary cycle. - 8-Ball

I guess I'm the strange one here. I'm usually in bed by about 11:30 ET (I get up at 5:15 each morning to walk my 2 miles) before I leave for work at 6:30 A.M. I'd love staying on all night, but this old bear doesn't have it in him anymore. Plus caring for the wife puts a damper on things too.

I hope your wife is doing well, Nathan.

I go to sleep at about 2:30am on average, wake at 9:30am on average. Give or take an hour on both. I'm not a morning person. am=sleep, pm=live

As a general rule, I'm up too late *NUDGE*

I do generally stay logged in while at work and pop in over the weekends too.

Well, work starts at 5am, so I'm UP at 3:30. UGH! Has its plusses though - no traffic on the drive in to The City and I can be off as early as 2pm. The minus is I have to get to bed by 10 or I'm toast the next day. Unfortunately, 10 is hard to do if class doesn't get out until then....

Here in the land of the midnight sun, time has no meaning so I have no idea when I get up or go to bed.
