This is nuts, but here goes. After I install Win98 and start using it, if I click on say, My Computer, I will often get an error box that says "Internal Error...window will be closed..blah, blah, blah. But the caption at the top of that box says 'Microsoft Internet Explorer'. I am also getting errors of files being 'linked to missing exports'...and these files all relate to Internet Explorer. I am not using IE though. They just come up at random...
Any Suggestions?

Sounds like a bad load to me. You might try copying the win98 folder from the cd to the hard drive and reinstalling from there. Should be able to just install over the one now, but might have to redo any updates.
Yeah, I agree with Underclocked. It's quite possible that your CD-ROM isn't reading the data on the CD very well, which causes the installation to be a BUNK-INSTALL. try copying the Win98 CD to your hard drive first before you install it. It will also a be a quicker install than using your CD-ROM.
