You know how sometimes when programs lock up, then you end them, but If you press f, you get find and r you get run? How do you turn that off? I remember it has something to do with a key combination or somethin?

I'm not sure what exactly what you are talking about. A prog lock ups, you hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and end task. Now does the behavior start?

If so, Ctrl-Alt-Del again, but just cancel out of dialog.

short-cuts keys as you described maybe found under the icon's properties. Right click and delete "short cut key" entry, should default to none,on the properties pop-up page.
