I am looking for a few different programs that will search and list out your computers components and also how/what they are running at.
Does anyone have any ideas where I will find these or have links to sites they have seen these type of programs listed?
Basics like processor, HD, CDRom, etc. Basically a whole break down of what your computer consists of.

There is several that I have used.
First would be within the device manager itself (built-in to the OS)
Then of course Sisoft sandra, hardware inventory, and a couple of others that I cant think of the names of right this moment. But you can find most of them at Download.com under Utilitys.

Try this, it will give you a detailed listing of all the devices in your system.
Start\run, then type in:
hwinfo /ui (note the space)

I grabbed a few utils that work along with manually checking the systems. I just wanted an easy way out instead of checking them all. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
the start/run: hwinfo /ui does not work. Is that for a win9x OS? because I am running NT4.0
