My girlfriend and I won a bid on a laptop on auctionsales.com . They stated 5-10 working days after verification of bid and payment and will recieve product. Today will 15 days and they are giving us the total runaround. Anyone else have a problem with Auctionsales

FYI, after 20 working days and not a word we notified the Internet Hotline for Fraud, the FTC, Califonia Attorney General, and the FBI about our problem with auctionsales.com . In less than two hours after calling these agencies auctionsales.com notified us that they had shipped the laptop to us . It is supposed to be here on Friday. More later. Film at 11.

Good luck with your purchase. I hope that the merchandise you bought is up to par. I am wary about purchasing anything from these fly by night "auction" sites. Glad to hear that your actions prompted the company to light a fire under their 4$$E$. Once again good luck, and tell us what the condition of the laptop is.

FYI We got the laptop in 3 weeks late with no apologies but everything seems to be in good order. It had software as they said loaded ready to run. It is unfortunate we had to notify the authorities. It seems that the Internet Hotline for Fraud seem to be the ones that got them going. They e-mailed auctionsales right after we complained. I need a CD-RW but I think I will buy it direct.

I notice that Auction-Sales (the same outfit?) ((http://www.auction-sales.com) has a rating of only 1.2 out of a possible 7 - which the best rating.
