Is it possible to have dual OSs running at same time and if so what type of setup would you need to run it.

I know VMWare will allow you to run another OS in a window, needs RAM though, RAM hungry =P. www.vmware.com, (http://www.vmware.com,) its $99 for Non Commercial License I believe.

You could always dual boot your system.

Yeah vmware does the trick but you really need twice as much RAM. If you have 128MB, and you have to set aside some to the old OS, say 64, and some to the new, other 64. But neither OS can access your full 128 while it's running.

Why would you want 2 OS's running at the same time? just asking...

Well I didn't make them run at the same time, but I managed to dual boot win98 and win95. Why? I really wanted to see the difference.

I would want to os running at the same time... by default, I use windows but I am a unix fanatic. Most of the stuff on windoze can't b used on linux, so I my self would not mind having both OS running.

I have 2 operating systems running at the same time, windows 98 on my game system, windows 2000 on my server!
