WIN NT 4.0 & ASUS P3V4X

Has anyone had success installing WIN NT 4.0 on a ASUS P3V4X motherboard? I am failing when installing the ATAPI CD-ROM driver off of disk 3. I have tried two of everything in the computer, including the install disks. It never fails, my system locks solid at this point. I have little experiance with ASUS and they're web site contains no information about this issue. What really blows me away is that WIN 2000 installs fine, even the ATAPI CD-ROM drivers that failed with NT 4.0.

Any help would be great!

I was going to move this to Motherboards to try to get you some help, but see you've already posted there.

Please don't multiple post, as if this thread had been responded to it would be most difficult to follow a troubleshooting path.

You also may reply to your own thread to "bump it up" if you don't receive replies after a day or so. Or, if it requires, email Mntsnow or myself and we'll be happy to move your thread for you.
