I was working on my computer today and my hard drive ,wich wasnt secured to the case, kinda leaned over and touched the case.It made a God-awfull noise then when i looked at the screen you could see lines going through it.I turned off my comp, restarted it and it did the right stuff, only after like 4 seconds after i started it,it sounded like the hard drives arm scratched the hell outta the disks. Now it wont register, spin,or start up!!What do I do! (i have no $$$)

It's probably toast, but you can always try this last-ditch attempt to get your data back:
When turning on your PC, smack the center of the drive with a screwdriver handle right when the drive would start to spin up. This will likelyy take a lot of attempts, but if you get to the point where it's still not working after an hour of trying, it probably won't ever work.

I was trying to remember what i did and it hit me!! I notice my drive was right next to the power switch *gulp*,so Im guessing the (uncovered) tips of the wires on the switch touched the drive and killed it.

How important is the data on your disk? If is just apps, games and a few emails, then yeah, sounds like it's an expensive doorstop.
If you have important data that wasn't backed up (D'OH http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif ), there are companies that can get data off even the most totally screwed up HDD - I think they take the platter out and spin it up on some sort of test bed thingy. However, they do charge for this!!
Better start saving up the pennies!

The hitting trick works when a HDD has seized, for example if it's been mounted upside down - some disks (some Seagates, WD Caviar) really object to that sort of treatment.
I did thin when my neighbour's PC wouldn't recognise the HDD - you couldn't hear it spin up. I clouted the disk just as I turned the power supply on and the disk span up and the PC booted fine.
I guess this gives a literal meaning to the phrase 'booting up' http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
EDIT ~ typo.
