MS Access problem

Does anyone know how to write a date filter that would take a date manually entered, THEN add a three day grace period AND also adjust for weekends?

This "minor tweak" (not my words) is intended to help monitor supplier shipments.

Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated in how to conceptually set this up? The MS Access database already has more than 130 Meg of SQL language to begin with due to the complexity of the various reports.........
