When I try to choose which screensaver I want in W2K, I don't get the little sample in the window, and the display properties sheet locks up. I have the latest drivers for my video card installed (Nvidia TNT2 Ultra). When it's time for the computer to go to screen saver, it just goes to a black screen, and the only way to get the desktop back is to ALT-CTL-DEL and end the process. Microsoft mentions something about this on their tech site, but the registry hack they suggest didn't work. This is doubly odd on my machine, since before I re-installed W2K, the screensavers worked fine. (No hardware changes, just partition re-sizing). Any clues?
