ICQ 2000a runs the best of all of them IMO. Icq 99b was a piece of ****. I liked Icq99a the best till Icq 2000a came out.

I guess it's all in one's opinion.

I heard 2000 was a resource and ram hog, even worse than 99b so i have stuck with 99b.

Do the lights in the room dim when you load ICQ2000?

i ran 99b for a few months and then upgraded to 2000a and have not noticed any increase of or difference in resource consumption.

Using the Resource Meter that is with Win98, I started ICQ2000a and it used 6% of the resources for all three readings.
