Was wondering if anyone out there has had any issues with this issue. I have a PC in my home that is shared by a few users and thought I'd install some system policies to restrict their use to some of the applications I've put on there. (actually I just wanted to see if I could install policies just for kicks) Well I was able to set them up and they are running today but those things really bog down the boot process (real drag). I've lost interest on the policies and now want to get rid of them all. I've looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find anything on getting rid of policies. Does anyone have an idea the best way to get back to a desktop that doesn't use these things?

Hello,

I don't have much experience with the 98 security but I think if you ever want to revert to the default settings, then rename *.pol file (s) to *.pob (example) and keep those files until you are sure that everything runs well. Win98 will create default *.pol files if there is not any (according to article "win98 security".
I Hope it will help.
