Win98---what a problem--no way ---yeah right

I had a similiar problem, I downloaded an update from MS for shutdown problems, and it fixed it. Check for that update

I did a fresh install of win98 version one. Since then, from time to time I have noticed that when I go through the restart procedure, that the machine decides to turn itself off. Anyone have any ideas what the issue is? Is it possible that it could be a bios quirk?
