Consistant invalid page faults in mod user.exe

I am having a problem with invalid page faults in module user.exe , My computer works great but every 12 hours or so it starts with explorer faulting in user.exe Then one by one every background task that I am running, My ftp server, ICQ, Black Ice, Zone Alarm, Realplayer, Winamp Agent cause the same fault in user.exe I have reinstalled the OS (Win98 SE) many times but to no avail. Could anyone tell me how to fix this or what user.exe does ?

Please don't multiple post - it makes troubleshooting difficult with more than one thread and it can be frustrating for those trying to help.

If you're not getting a response, you can always bump up the same thread after giving it a little time for people to respond. You have a reply here.
