Program start at connection?

Is there a way to setup Win98 to start progs like viruscanners and Zone Alarm only when an internet connection is detected?

Try WireWhiz. If you are using a modem connection, I know of a nice little program that keeps track of your online time and cost. It's a Swedish program, but can be set to English.
