I am dual booting to win2K and win98. If I want to remove win2K, I think I need to change the boot.ini file which reads this now:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
C:\="Microsoft Windows"

What should I remove? Or better yet, can someone who runs only win98 copy and paste their boot.ini file here?

Thanks

Mike

To uninstall Win2K you need to follow the same procedure that you would use for removing NT from a dual boot system. This was discussed not to long ago in the following thread.
