I know this might not be a last resort for most people, but why not check Ebay.
I was able to cut a deal with a guy on their for a new Celeron II 566@850 (1.5v) for $150 shipped.

That's cheaper than www.azzo.com (http://www.azzo.com) has them, and this chip is guarenteed to overclock to 850 at default voltage. Also, if it doesn't or the chip is unstable, he'll ship me another one (up to 30 days)

Not that bad of a deal if you ask me. I'm really suprised too, because since Ebay has become so popular, it's hard to find "good deals" b/c so many people bid on the items. However. Ebay is a great place to sell things, because people will bid on ANYTHING you put up. It's amazing.

Yea, this gripes me too, I can't find a "reputable" site to get a socket 370 Celery either, they advertise it but they never have it in stock.. Or the s/h is prohibitive.

Yeah, I know.. Prices in Canada are killer.

Especially games.. I like my games, but the AVERAGE game here runs a good $70 bucks.. Thats not for anything good either.
