Can someone tell me what upgrade would yield the best performance benefits, especially for gaming? I have an Athlon 550, 32mb TNT2, 96mb RAM. Would RAM be the smartest upgrade, with cost in mind? Also, if it is RAM, what would be a good amount? Thanks in advance.
What system do you have now? It would be easier for us to tell if we know what you are upgrading from.

I would overclock the cpu and graphics card and buy some PC133 ram.

Did I not say enough? What more do I need to tell you? If you missed it, I put some sys info up there.

hmmmmmmm....fairly decent system already. Do try overclocking and maybe get a bit more RAM. I've heard that Windows doesn't manage RAM that well, when it is over 128mb. I have 192. Go figure.

Well, I am currently running Win98, and Redhat Linux. I mostly use it for gaming, or just the usual web browsing things. I got $200 for my Birthday (a lot of money for a jobless 15 year old like me), and I'm trying to get good bang for the buck. I think I'll go with RAM.
Man, I am just full of questions:
How much RAM would you need so that when gaming, you wouldn't need to bother with slow virtual memory?
My current memory is pc100. Would it be worth the money to trash it and go with 133, or is their not that much of a difference?
