I must admit, I do like ZDTV. But, just to be on the safe side, maybe we should start clicking some ads around here. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Good idea Bruno. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Out of curiousity, how much would someone make per click? I know this is a MAJOR site and the amount is probably bigger than "smaller" sites but I'd like to know.

Any guesses?

Well, what's true is that at the present time, EarthWeb is spending more money than the it is making. However, with each passing quarter, EarthWeb's revenues have been increasing. And according to Henry Blodget, analyst for Merrill Lynch, EarthWeb has enough cash to carry the company through to profitability. ZD even published an article stating that fact near the end:

Of course they are gonna say that!

Disclosure: EarthWeb is a competitor of Ziff-Davis, ZDNet's parent company.

this could be a legal issue ... the way they are trying to instill fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD). isn't that a tactic exclusive to microsoft? get the lawyers on the phone!

Isn't Ziff-Davis connected with or owned by Microsoft? I heard that somewhere.
