New ICQ Active List

We have been having some major problems with this software. We have open a new ICQ list that we hope will sort out all the problems we have had so far. If you wish to join there is NO point in adding your number to this thread, we can not add you like that read down the page and find the instructions if you r still having problems message one of us and we will get back to you as quick as we can.

Hmmm...hang on a sec. Isn't the active list supposed to have an ID number?
whup...ne'er mind. Figured out that first number you posted was the list's ID number.

I think the way this worx is like this:

The ICQ number Sparks posted is the ID number of the Active List.

You search ICQ for that ID and add the active list to your list of contacts. Then you request authorization from the list. At this point I think it becomes up to Sparki to add you....am I missing anything Sparki?

Joined up Activelist System Optimization! Comon all Sysopt ICQ users! It stays seperate from your normal list, and can be shut off when u dont want it active. N best of all, you can talk to anyone on the active list in real time...check it out!

We had a haulover; as a result, the list was lost. Nore, Markd, n all those others that joined up before, delete the list off your ICQ list, this is a new list (ICQ Activelist #66168596), so that you can be reauthorized, and added to the list, so u can use the features.
For all others interested, Click on the ActiveList button, and then Find/add an ICQ Activelist. The Search for 66168596. This should bring you up to the Activelist.
Me or sparki will then check to make sure your a SysOpt Forum user, and then we'll letcha in w/ the rest of the crew http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif. (kinda like one time bouncers http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif)

Sparki, who first made this activelist, is on a university comp, that has time cutoff and access limitations. While he is still founder and head administrator, I will be running the server on my comp, as co-administrator, and maintenence guy.

When you join, I will broadcast your Sysopt name along side your Username, so that people will know who you are.

Remember, your all welcome to join! This way we can chat in real time with our fellow members. If you have ICQ installed already, its a very easy setup, so I urge you to at least try it and see what its like.

If you encounter any problems, ICQ me at 2718178, with your Sysopt user name and ICQ number, and ill get you in ASAP!

The Activelist number has CHANGED, for all those who didnt see it.
ICQ has many new features...try it and see...it has like 7 different status modes, Active list, Random chat if you want it, buddy list segementation, among others.

I dont think I can add people if I just have thier numbers. Youll have to contact the list thru ICQ, search for the Activelist #66168596, and ask to join. Either me or Sparki will accept you, so as long as we know who you are on this Forum. The Activelist server software Im using is still in beta, and has some issues, but nothing that hampers client side usage, so join up!
