Fix for Max Payne?

So has any one found a fix for the random freezing? I cant get by the helecopter part on the roof. My computer keeps freezing up. HELP!! This game really is Bad A**! I havent had this much fun playing since Quake 3. So please I will try anything.

Well, Have you gone to the "taskbar" on your desktop and turned off the option of "Taskbar Always On Top?" Sounds odd, but it's actually helped some people... For a last hope, I hear if you get the No-CD-Crack for Max Payne, that the freezing stops! (For metioning CD-Crack on sysopt, I shall click thy banner adds 100 times) If mentioning this on here is bad, delete this and notify me, so I can click thy banner adds another 100 times.. Just trying to help out!! Good luck!

Makaveli there is no problems with mentioning cd cracks if he owns the software. i use cd cracks all the time with the software i buy. i find games load much faster with them. i would try Makaveli approach.

Hey guys thanks, I have the latest update of the game. I also had already tried the task bar thing. It still locked up. I was able to play one time until the copter pilot finished his countdown, then when I restarted it would lock. So regretably I had to go to the walk through so I can finish it befor I died and had to restart. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Man, I hate that. It is an ausome game, Im looking foward to beating it at the harder modes! I will try the no CD crack, do you know where I might be able to find it?
