Not true !

I've got the game and can say that it is awesome, the graphics rock. As for gameplay, if you liked the realism factors of the original IW, then you should like this.

Having said that, there are some annoying things about it, the intro (basically an extended tutorial) is fairly long, and you HAVE to play through it the first time. Also, the same game feature is less than desirable. You can only save the game when you are at your base....I don't know how many times I've been out 'accuiring' items only to die just before returning to base and having to start all over, drives me nuts.

Other than that I can't say much, I'm only just beginning the game, but aside from the save game thing, I like it alot.

One other thing, you can't modify your control configuration 'in game'. You have to do actually make a new .ini file for it. Not a big deal though, you just copy the default one, change whatever you want and then save it under a new name. (took me about 5 minutes to set it up) and then you config comes up in the options display so you can select it.

After I've played through abit I'll let you knwo what I think

Thanks for the reply, Moose. Since your just starting, all I can say is "Be Patient !". This is a hard game. The ships fly like they really would in space(inertia) and you have to think your way through each mission. I've gone to the forums on this game and you wouldn't believe the amount of people who are frustrated.
You have to listen to the dialogs carefully and think your way through the missions!
