Bob The Great 09-01-2001, 11:22 PM It depends. 99% of the time no. The reason. USB needs windows to run (or mac I guess). The 1% (maybe more, but I haven't heard of it) are people like me with the EPOX 8K7A. I'm not sure how it works, but their is a feature in the bios that allows my USB mouse to work without windows! It's really awesome! One other option is getting a USB to PS2 converter. My optical mouse came with one (Logitech Opitcal Mouseman). But I'm not sure how well that would work with your mouse. Sorry. NDD 09-04-2001, 07:30 PM Epox mobos are not the only one to allow "USB legacy support" in BIOS, especially for operating USB mouse/keyboard in BIOS, I have it on my Abit KT7A, saw it on Gigabyte/Asus mobos, and practically all new mobos out there. USB to PS2 adapter can be a good solution, too http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Best Regards ... Bob The Great 09-04-2001, 11:47 PM My bad! I'm glad I was wrong though! It's a really awesome feature! One that I didn't know about till I got my mobo. SysOpt.com
