my favorite star wars based games have been orginal x-wing and tie-fighter.. the newer ones i don't like as much..

I don't know about you guys, but I have really been enjoying the soon-to-be-classics Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith! But, I am TOTALLY looking forward to Jedi Knight II!!! It will probably get like 0.001 FPS on my system, though! -Sgraffito

Well, I am a big SW fan. I have played most of the games. Tie Fighter was/is one of the best sims ever made PERIOD. I remember bringing X-Wing home after Christmas '93. Those were the days......I want Jedi Knight 2 to be first-person, not third person. Hate that low-iq Playstation ****. Of course, Half Life and Counter Strike have spoiled me :-) Can you imagine playing CS in third person? You would never win at all. BTW, I know there is a setting in config.cfg file to make it third-person, but it escapes me ;=)

I liked the movies, played TIE fighter a LOT and also like Dark forces. I'm a fan but not a BIG one.

I used to be a HUGE fan, but have kinda laxed a little in my aging.

I'm a big fan of the XWing and TIE fighter series. I liked Jedi Forces and am in the process of playing XWing Alliance right now.

I remeber when I was but a wee lad of 7. Flying down the death stars trench with my trusty R2 unit (my cousin) repairing damage, and targeting stuff.

I loved all of the old ones! X-wing, Tie Fighter, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Mysteries of the Sith! The new ones bite except Pod racer (kinda fun but to easy), and Alliance (great game http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.

Just bring down the console, and type "cg_thirdperson 0". That should get it to 1stperson. I like the 3rd person view though. I don't know if you played JK much. Dark Forces I and II were the only Star Wars games I liked so far. It looks like Jedi Knight II is going to be awesome. Actually, in Jedi Knight & Muysteries of the Sith if you press F1 you can switch between first and third person, and I'm sure it will be like that in JK2.

I also like X-wing Alliances and TIE Fighter, but I don't have those games, so it is hard to determine how much I like them.

I'm a fan since it was the first movie I ever saw in the cinema at the age of 4....loved all the toys, but think it died a glorious death with Return of the Jedi and didn't need the prequals.

I think Podracer is WAY too easy! It is a cinch to beat!

The Phantom Menace is an awesome game, but only with the third person cheat. Otherwise I think it stinks.

Also, it looks like you get to play as Jan Ors (you know, that gal who always bails Kyle K. out of trouble in JK.) That will be pretty sweet.
