Can someone tell me what's so good about this from gaming perspective only? Is it worth upgrading from Live? Do games have to be written for it or will it improve all?

More 3D-surround BS for us, the gamers. Donno about support for current games, not enought info is avaiable right now.
Anyway, I'm waiting to upgrade from my SB128 card http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif , probably will be getting one with Platinum drive, the all-mighty eX.
