Hellmund 08-28-2001, 06:09 AM All the recent games I've seen have frankly had far too complex controls for a gamepad. Maybe have a look at something older.... Warthog 08-28-2001, 10:48 AM Not that recent, but Need For Speed 4 or 5......NFS 5 has slightly more controls (turn signals...lol) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Warthog Rhino302 08-28-2001, 12:57 PM Yeah, if anyone wants to suggest somethign older. I just dont like mouse games. I might look at NFS...but I'll probably wait till after I finish Sega GT. If you havent played it, its cool, just ilke Gran Turismo Makaveli 08-28-2001, 07:44 PM I feel the mouse is the perfect device for gaming! (keyboard as well) Can't think of any good NON-MOUSE games! -Mak Hellmund 08-28-2001, 08:21 PM Hehe, if your excluding using the mouse your back to Dos and DukeII and other platform games http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Emc2 08-28-2001, 08:39 PM Hmmmm...lets see, good non-mouse games: The ones i like are the entire descent series multiplayer and most of the flight simulators. Then there's Star Wars: Episode I Racer that you can't race with a wheel. I'm probably missing a few here. These are just the ones that I like to use the joystick for. Nascar 4 is pretty awesome enough to just have a wheel for, if you're into serious racing. Warthog 08-28-2001, 09:49 PM For FPS, the mouse will blow ANY console games gamepad sky high out of the water. Warthog Sgraffito 08-29-2001, 01:14 AM WHAT?!?!?! No mouse games??!! J/K! I DO like to use the mouse ALOT, though! I'm not much for gamepads...except the Logitech ForceFeedback gamepads! conjh13 08-29-2001, 11:29 AM And a good optical trackball will come pretty close to blowing a mouse out of the water. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Tekk 08-30-2001, 02:28 PM Blah..trackballs are icky. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I'll stick with my optical Logitech Wingman mouse SysOpt.com
