Why do I see about 15 <empty> slots to save games, but it only uses 4?
And when does it decide to "override" a particular saved game?

Case in point:
I was at the part right after the heli starts blasting you in the elevator. I got out virtually unscathed and F5'd.
last night I wanted to show my friend what it plays like on my machine and generally show him the game.
Well i continued from a differnet saved game scene.(just as you enter the building Part 3 chapter 7). I did pretty good, so I saved it.
When I went to the saved game to show him what part I am facing, it was gone!!!!.
I have to start over from the flargin beginning of the chapter.
Why am I only saving 4 slots then over writing them?
Did i miss a setting?

F5 is used to "quicksave" a game.
You can also save by going to the main menu, (hit esc) and selecting "save game".

Read page 15 of the game manual for more info on how it works.

Good luck!

Download a level selector and select the level you were on.. Save you the time of having to repeat everything!
