Anyone out there ever play "Recoil", especially as a two-player on two machines.

Bought a copy from a used software store, played it awhile, found it to be ggggreat fun, but can't find anything on the web about it.

Frustrating? You bet! That's half the fun. Just finished level 6, after playing on and off for about a year (not much spare time you know). Couldn't destroy the last "bad weapon", but I'm certain it's because I missed one of the morphing modes of the BHT. Oh well, just have to start from scratch. All-in-all, when its been a bad day, whipping around in the tank and shooting stuff takes the edge off.

By the way, do you know if RECOIL can be played head-to-head over the net?

I really liked that game alot when it came out. I was very surprised that it didn't quite catch on. I found the freedom of movement quite a rush. Ya know, the way you can control the tracks independently of the turrent. Awesome. Didn't take long for controls to become second-nature.

I forget exactly how, but you have to set it up correctly to get the turrent to be independent of the tracks. Do ya know what I mean?

OuTpaTient - Yeh, I know what you mean! While it can be a bit disorienting driving one way and shooting another, expecially if you are shooting a tethered missle, the effect is outstanding.

Cyclone2 - Used your link to "Zipper". Tapped into their "Jobs" e-mail, to say thanks for a great program; and, "....by the way, how about a RECOIL-2?" Be interesting if I get a response. Took the game, as well as some other stuff, off my HD last night so I could do some house-cleaning. Don't think the game will be off for long however.

SnapperOne........

For the last one you need to go underwater in the middle of the area. Where the bridge is. Make sure you go through the 2 side portals first though.

I can play the game and finish it in a half day. Even on the hardest setting. And no cheat codes.

I wish they would come out with a Recoil-2
