who here plays D2 online? I do way too much,probably 3-4 hours a day(i know there are crazier people then me though). Anyway anyone here wanna start a sysopt d2 club? basically just meet in a channel named sysopt and play in a game with name and password of sysopt
or something like that. anyone interested??

I went back to D2 lately since I've been bored alot this summer.
I'm mainly in an experimental phase since my last Sorc character didnt like the last patch. So I'm just trying all kinds of different characters.

Also expansion comes out on the 29th.

It'd be cool to be able to play with people I know though, instead of all those mystery people on B.net.

Also, no matter how bad your connection is, I'm sure the always-choked B.net servers cause much more lag than your connection. I play on a 56k modem dialup @ 48kpbs, and had played on 10Mpbs, and I dont notice any lag or latency difference on B.net.

I play from time to time. Hopefully, I will get the expansion today. It would be good to be able to game with you guys.

I stopped playing FPS with Doom2 and I fear they are more complicted now to faciltate me playing catchup with everyone's l33t skilz http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Similar to others, I play online here and there. My 56k likes to get me dropped by b.net from time to time.

I just (as in two days ago) got Diablo II. I love it. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I haven't gone out to Battle.net yet though. I did host a game with a friend though. Now I need to get the expansion!!!

there seems to be an interest...i'm gonna make a sysopt clan homepage..for whatever games we want to be able to find each other. It will start as a D2 page, but soon will evolve to something more and better i hope... well i'll post back here when/if i ever get it made and online.

I am speaking for my son here, but he plays this game on the www. and I am hooked up at 56k.

Latly I upgraded to a new system:

800mhz
256ram
40 gig HD
Win ME
etc.

He now says people online while playing with him say they cant beleive he dosent "hang" or "freeze" (what ever is the right way to say it).

The upgrade from his 233mhz, 128ram made all the difference.

I have a 1Ghz/266 Duron and 256MB of PC133 CAS2 on a Geforce2 GTS with 2 ATA/100 Harddrives in RAID0, and I still hang from time to time (especially in the expansion since they jack resolution up to 800x600, and everything in the new Act is extremely detailed. (Maybe I need the no CD crack, or a good defrag, or both.)

Wonder if the no CD crack for the Expansion pack version is out yet...

I havent played in a long time, I dont even have it installed right now but I might end up palying somethime soon.

We do need to get some clans, guilds, teams. Of sysopt members, For games.
I think someone needs to make a sysopt members gaming page. where everyone can go and find out who esle plays what games and where they can find each other.

I played it ALOT for awhile then I lost intrest. I got a nice sorcoress in my account I figure I'll start playing agian sometime soon.
