I'm running Windows ME and have a Gravis GamePad Pro for Fifa 2001.
I can't seem to get it configured correctly. The Gravis Xperience software has been downloaded and installed.
Under Gaming Options in control panel, I have Gravis GamePad Pro selected. Is this correct? It might have been left there from the previous older software that ran on Win 98.
Anyway, in a nutshell, I can play fifa ok using some of the buttons, but the keysets are not correctly set up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jon

Jon,
Read the accompanying manual closely (the little white one) and also for FIFA.
I had the same gamepad, and it gave me fits in NHL2000 (same software company). It was the gameport version. I had to unplug it and plug it back in every time I had used it and turned the computer off.
My problem was recognition by Windows (suprise..), but it also configured properly once that was done.
Also, if you have two of them 'piggybacked' on one gameport, not all of the buttons will work. I don't think this holds true for the USB version, though, but you'll have to search the Gravis, EASports, or MS websites for more info. Maybe ME doesn't support your version, as not all peripherals were compatible with it. There is a list somewhere in the MS Knowledge Base.
Personally, it has kept me from buying anything from Gravis again. I know this doesn't solve your problem, but might give you a nudge in the right direction.

Thanks. I will try that.
It's mighty frustrating though and I didn't realise it was Gravis who was the main culprit.

hmm.. never played FIFA2001 though but I do play FIFA2K and it works fine with my gravis gamepads. Yes that's rite I had 2 gamepads, one piggiebacked the other, and all 10 buttons work. My friend and I have been played since, hmm.. couple of months with out a hick.
I guess smth is wrong with your control setting... well.. just check it out in the control pannel. gl.
BTW, my gamepads are nonUSB 8^)
