I remember seeing ads, or reading about a chat program that you can use while gaming, to chat with people, but I cant remember the name....Any ideas?
Really just need it for a lan, so one that works on a lan is best.(well, 2 comps the length of the house apart. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif )

You can actually use the voice mode in AOL Instant Messenger too. The only down side is you can only talk to one at a time and you don't hear the game sounds since AOL's voice mode takes over the soundcard. When you launch Quake2 anyhow, it will give you a warning message about the sound hardware being in use. Just hit the button labelled cancel and it should go into the game and you'll be playing while listen to the other person. It's fun sometimes.
