Did I miss something?
I had to do a double take when I was posting a reply because I saw a new window at the bottom of the screen that looked exactly like the top of the screen. I scrolled down in this little window and realized it says everything in the topic I was replying to. Nifty! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Is this new or am I an airhead???

Yes, it's been there for a while, I noticed it the 1st day I was here, I thought it was a nifty feature also. I could see what everyone else's response was and not forget what i was about to say http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
I also noticed that it's different for Netscape, everyones responses are displayed on the same page, not in a window for scrolling like IE5.

Yes you just missed it.
It has been there for quite a few months. I noticed it not long after joining.

I hate to say it guys but I think I have been registered for about fourteen months no and I saw it the first time I posted .
One of the first things I relized when I started using computers is that you need to be aware of everything happening on the current screen or you miss a lot of great stuff !
I must say though in your defense , I have been guilty of missing many good things in my time which makes me an airhead like the rest of you and it's only taken me 35 years to reach that status!!!!! LOL
Missing the point

I dunno when I first saw it, but it is a few months ago, I recon!!!!
And indeed it is very handy, if ya wanna say something to someone who already replied in that topic and you forgot what and how he or she said it!!!!
Cool add in I think!!!
BTW, who here uses this spell check, my browser doesn't seem to like it very much???!!!

You mean you people using MS Internet Explorer can see it now too?
...seems like the posts were always there when I used Netscape and never there when I used IE...
but jadison is right - with Netscape it's all jammed together unless the topic thread is very long

Ultima: I try to use the spell checker also to no avail.. and thats not a good thing because my spelling is my weakest point, hehe.
oh.. wait... I just tryied to spell check this mesaage for the fun of it and it's working now..... um.. I guess I don't have a problem now... I'm confused, I usually just get an error message.
I am using IE5

I didn't notice it the first few months here, I thought it was just an ad banner until someone mentioned it in a post. Then I noticed the scroll bar on it. Before that, I was always going back and forth between pages if I needed to check something during a post.

It's been there since I've been here. A few months now. I use Netscape though.
I do hate the fact that after you reply to a post you can't just hit the back button to get back to the forum. I have to hit the link at the top of the page.
I too noticed that window when it first appeared. Quite handy, I must say...
Ultima, the last few times I tried the spell checker it crashed my browser (IE 5.00). It's been around a week and a half since I last tried.
