Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Install GLSetup Public Beta v1.0.0.121? r0l0e 05-17-2001, 11:44 AM I ran Across this page: http://www.glsetup.com/ and i was wondering if there were ANY advantages in downloading (88MB)and installing this version to any games requiring OpenGL. Any words from the wise? Kruzin 05-17-2001, 04:01 PM I wouldn't touch it. Just run the correct drivers for your video card, and you will be fine. GLSetup is just a conglomeration of various video card drivers, and they are usually not the lastest and greatest. It's only purpose is to set up drivers for people who don't know how to find and install the right drivers for themselves. r0l0e 05-19-2001, 12:10 AM that's something to ponder about but what i don't understand is: why would some game distros have the option of installing the drivers? and it's abeta at that... it's also a slap in the face when someone has to download useing a 56k dialup. and just because they can't find a driver for their vid. card?
