Sad news indeed. I grew up in Montreal but now I live in the UK and hadn't heard this.

I am American, just one who has never watched hockey. I live in GA now, and I respect hockey, I just feel that it should at least stay above the Mason-Dixon line where it is fully appreciated...hockey in Georgia?
