Is it possible to configure UT so I can use a joystisck or gamepad?

I tried playing with a Logitech Wingman, VERY DIFFICULT! It's too hard to get the precision of a mouse when you are trying to snipe someone. For first person shooters, you can't beat the keyboard/mouse combo.

That's what I figured,just thought I'd check.
I just have a hard time with all the different keys.

At first, just keep it simple. Use the W,A,S,D keys to move, the spacebar to jump and (hopefully you have a scroll mouse ) set the scroller to change your weapons. That's pretty much all I use. I have the Q set to Flak Gun and R set to Rocket Launcher. I rarely crouch and faking death just doesn't work. Good luck!

I am using the arrow keys to move, the left ctrl to jump and Alt to change weapons. I have a trackball, which I love. Gives me awesome control. I'm getting used to it and can now do more than just charge and shoot. It's just that my hands get all cramped up , they get quite a workout on the job.
Guess I'll just have to get used to it. Thanks guys.

Whoa! That's the setup I used first too! Except I had my l/r arrow keys set to turn instead of strafe(very bad, was getting killed too easily). Using your pinky to jump all the time might be what is cramping you up(gets me tired just trying it!) The WASD setup is more "natural" cause your hand is in normally in that position while you are typing. Either way, FRAG ON!
