...but you know what? I don't want it.

Scott or Socalgal, could I have my post count zeroed out? (ceedee style http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif) The message in my postings determine whether or not I should be listened to, and I don't want someone new here to let it taint whether or not I should be believed.

I also remember someone asking me if I would change my mind about how I feel about member status if I made it to Senior. I haven't.

Regardless, I hope I've helped at least a few people along w/ the little I know of computers and otherwise. Lord knows, you've all helped me! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

You guys can just pass his posts over to me http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Noble, but probably not needed. All the mature people here dont notice it anyway. It does have some redeeming quality to it though. Just treat your 500th (or 1000th) like any other post. I never mentioned my change of status and no one brought it up, and I liked it that way http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

congrats anyway though !!!!

HD, dont' worry about your rank, you should be happy, but at the same time, ignore and post more helpful things, because yes, you are making very helpful posts, and that's something that what OTHER people think, and since other people think that, then that means you should know that you are a very helpful person. well, congrats! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey Socal,
maybe you should start and new section on this message board called "I Just made senior/ultimate member! yah for me!"

when i get to the ultimate (or even senior) member point, i don't want any of my message that took me to that point to be :"YEEEE HAWWW!!! I'M A SENIOR MEMBER AT SYSOPT!!! BOW DOWN AT MY NERDITITY!!!"

When you make a thousand posts, it doesn't mean your smart, it means the opposite...

It means that your always needing help with life and your pc.......

Just kiddin.... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif ( It actually means the exact oppisite, it means that your the real pro around here, and everyone else needs all the help, me for instance.... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif ) Being a senior or ultimate member is the goal of all sysopt dwellers....... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif So I hope all your posts continue to be as good as they were when you were a junior hd.

Congrats,

hd581, i know you don't care much for the "rank" we get, as do i. i find it even more annoying when every person who gets to a new level has to annouce it.

I think that the main reason for keeping the member status rating, is the fact that, it does keep some people coming back. The more visits the more ads seen and clicked on.
