Does anyone know where I can download some of the maps from the older releases of cstrike.
I liked some of the removed maps and I am getting bored of hosting the same maps over and over at LANparties.

www.counter-strike.de (http://www.counter-strike.de) has thousands of maps available. also check webpages for servers as well. i know http://cs.houstonlive.net has downloads of custom maps they use on their 15 servers...

All you guys are complaining about lag, WELL DEAL WITH IT!!! You're the ones with the blazing cable modems and DSL lines, while I am stuck with a MODEM! A modem that only connects at 28.8(due to crappy phone lines, it is also being shard with 3 computers) so don't be complaining about lag! I am the one who gets pings of 400+ in any online game!

I managed to get the maps from fileplanet.
I am a modem user as well, but even worse is I connect through AOL, so when I play I am lucky to get ping 400 although I have managed to get a ping of 150 >8)
With a bad ping on cstrike I found changing the push latency (-500 -> -1500) helped as it stopped LPBs from killing me round corners.

What command do you use to do that Adam?
