The Firebird, if it is a Trans Am, is a much better looking car, and therefore is faster. Well ok, if it were my decision, I would get the T/A, and make it faster.

I got a '64 Ramblerdini that will give either one a run for their money, and not attract nearly as much attention...kinda rough on the eyes tho... :-)

But if you plan to buy one, and want a race, will try it out. I have one fast car, Mit Eclipse 2.5V6turbo. I won't really call it fast, but i'm scared to go over 100mph, well at least thats the fastest i got--for now. I did it on a run way.

I had an '84 Trans Am that would do 167 mph. That was about 1400 RPM over the "red line". It would have gone faster, but it would not go into overdrive at that speed.
