Okay,
I solved my OpenGl gaming problems on my sys ( FIC va-503+, 400mhz k62, 128mb ram, Hercules 3d prophet II mx) I set the via agp chipset to starndard and Not turbo. A D3D snd problems was solved by setting cpu-pci latency to zero. Now I may have a new problem. It seems that some games under D3D lock up into always walk/run mode.
Unreal1, Return to NaPali and Rayman2 do it. But any opengl game doesn't. Not all D3D games either. Tomb4, Subculture and others work fine. I deactivated my joystick just to see if there was some sort of conflict but the problem remains.
Any ideas? I'm getting ONI to try a newer D3D game engine on my sys and see what happens.
Trying to have fun
