Oh and then one of the recording industry big wigs has the gall to comment on music piracy:

Man,

What I wouldn't give to kick that Bronfman dude square in the ****!!!

That indeed is hipocracy at the highest level!!!
He is calling us the abusers and exploiters??!!!

He'd better take a good **** look in the mirror, and then try to say that again without including himself and a whole lot of other "label-owners"!!!

We ain't getting any money from the artist, and I'm sure that not even the slightest bit of what a cd costs these days, goes to the artist!!!

So, if they say: You all are exploiters, they should start using napster, cause they are already the biggest exploiters there are on the face of the planet!!

I dunno.....very biased article, but it was factual. I just dont agree that the way to fight fire is with fire; in this case download illegal music. Wrong is wrong.

Music Piracy will eventually lead to the destruction of the internet...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We've survived a whole lot more than a couple billion mp3's floating around, and some ASF movies on our FTP's. About the only thing that could bring down the internet would be Al Gore tripping over the extension cord he used to hook it up when he was creating it. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif The internet consists of millions of computers worldwide, as long as there are a couple of us around, the internt will be too.

I used to go to a store that had any CD for $9.99. Now I know why they stopped this. My question is: Why doesn't the online companies low-ball the stores? They don't have to listen to those companies. right?

I remember paying $17 for a CD that had two good songs on it, and I was thinking, "Man, that just ain't right." Now you can buy single songs off www.cdnow.com (http://www.cdnow.com) and download them in MP3 format. TAKE THAT RECORDING INDUSTRY!
