A lot of the times on weekends i go to the local gaming store (BestBuy, Babbages, whatever it may be) and like to drool over some of the new games..and alice also caught my eye...Too bad i'm wicked short on $$$ or i'd buy it :P

What a cool demo, I haven't gotten as far as you guys yet, but it's definitely fun.

I remember wanting to try it when OuTpaTienT posted some screenshots from it awhile back (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum8/HTML/001273.html) (darn, looks like he's removed them) and I had forgotten about it til this thread. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Great game, one of the most addictive I've played this year. Some really fantastic visuals. Bought it with price match at Walmart for $29.99. Try it and you will buy it.

Did anyone else have ant trouble unzipping the demo? I downloaded it it from 4 different sources and got an error each time.

Yeah.. the level design/graphics are incredible in Alice... though the gameplay is somewhat mediocre...

I just got "No One Lives Forever"... and I dropped Alice completely (will come back to it, thought) while I was finishing NOLF...

NOLF's graphics aren't nearly as awe inspiring as Alice, but the gameplay is VERY impressive. It's alot like the gameplay of Goldeneye (N64) with more gadgets and really nifty enemy AI (they turn over furniture and duck behind it.. sometimes holding their gun above their head and spraying bullets wblindly)... alot of interesting twists too.. like a level where you are falling from an airplane, riding motorcycles, riding snow mobiles, going hand to hand with a boss... etc....

...not to mention some decent storylines and a rather cute lead character http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I just played the demo and I must say it is another Q3 goodie. I think they took FAKK2 and changed all the art and Alice got pooped out. I must say they did a **** fine job. I think I will buy it tomorrow!
