How do i enter a cheat into a pc game?

i know this is dumb!
but the kids are playing the disney,tarzan game on our pc.:-)
i've got a list of cheats for it. ie code stjane. result is change to jane.
but i can't find anywhere to enter the code?
please help.

Or in some games they have a part in the options menu where you can enter cheats... if not then look on the site that you got the cheats from it may say there

Even though I doubt it relates to this game http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif, in multiplayer games, there is a chat key. Usually that is also used to type in codes. As I said, it probably doesn't relate. I can't picture your kids playing Tarzan deathmatch online http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

In doom and starcraft, you just typed in the code and hit enter. Did you try that?

Have u worked it out yet?
I think some games (h/life, quake's) u can hit the ~ (tilde?) key to drop down a console. Maybe yours is similar.

If the drop console (~) key doesn't work..Some games i've played all you do is hit the "T" button for "Talk" (Go figure right?)

If you haven't tried that..Might wanna try it...

Actually i've just got done playing one of the lower end bargain games...
To enter a cheat code you have to hit "ENTER+T" and it gives something like a drop console...
(Game was REALLY terrible so i'm figuring this wouldn't work with Tarzan)

i tried all ways......none worked :-(.
in the mean time the kids have got to the end of game without any cheats :-).
i would have prefered to cheat and finish it before them! :-).

Yup, just using the keyboard to type stlevel, stanimals, etc. And the result? Absolutely nothing! :mad:
Could there be different versions of the game, with later ones having had the cheats removed?

Alternatively, can anyone tell me how to get past the first man you meet after riding on Tantor in the "Tarzan to the Rescue" level (the penultimate level) ? :confused:
