Is there anyone that can play NFSP 5 with FSAA on in 1024x768? It's not playable with my GF2 GTS. is this normal?. And I don't see any difference in quality either (is this only me also?).

But the funny thing is that using the reference drivers I don't get a FSAA option (or something like it) for D3D like I get for OpenGl. Is this normal also? Only the ELSA drivers (have an Elsa Gladiac) give me a "Hardware-Antialias" slider (not the same as FSAA?) for D3D.

The only card which does FSAA in hardware is the V5 55000. GeForce and Radeon cards use a software type of anti-aliasing that is not quite as effective (though still much better than non-anti-aliased).

Offhand though, most video cards have trouble with high anti-aliasing settings coupled with high resolutions. Your simply overloading the bandwidth on the card.
